Overview
BackdraftCAD is a CAD, MDT, and records system built specifically for FiveM by people who actually work in public safety.
Our team is made up of IRL first responders and 911 telecommunicators, and our project lead is an IRL dispatcher. A lot of BackdraftCAD was actually built while sitting at a dispatch console, using a real CAD system as inspiration for how things should work and feel.
We aren't trying to copy another FiveM CAD. We're taking what we know from the real world and adapting it into something that's realistic without being a pain in the ass to use.
One of our biggest focuses is making everything actually work together. If dispatch runs a tag, the officer can already have it attached to their call. If an officer hits their panic button in-game, other units can immediately route to their AVL location. Records created in one part of the CAD can affect what users see elsewhere.
We're still constantly adding features and improving things based on feedback from the communities actually using it.

Pages that describe confirmed BackdraftCAD behavior contain normal instructions. Areas that still need product-owner verification are visibly marked as placeholders. This prevents planned behavior from being mistaken for a feature that is already available.
