BackdraftCAD was founded by first responders and forged for the fireground.

Welcome to BackdraftCAD!

BackdraftCAD is a professionally built FiveM CAD/MDT system designed and created by real-life firefighters and 911 telecommunicators. We have spent endless hours creating new and unique features that set us apart from the crowd.

My name is Ray, Lead Developer and Founder of BackdraftCAD. I work full-time in my county’s Emergency Services department as a 911 telecommunicator, and I am a state-certified Firefighter with Firefighter I and II certifications.

A fun fact about this CAD is that I spent most of my downtime at work creating it. Much of the design and functionality is based as closely as possible on my real-life CAD system because I was sitting directly in front of it while developing BackdraftCAD.

We also pride ourselves on our beta testers and the communities that run our CAD. They help us more than they know by suggesting new features and reporting bugs. I usually try to address every suggestion and bug within 24 hours of it being submitted.
