BackdraftCAD Overview

BackdraftCAD connects Communications, Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, DOT, civilian records, and FiveM activity inside a community-scoped CAD.

The community model​

One account can belong to multiple communities. Each community has separate departments, members, calls, roads, penal codes, forms, records, integration keys, and branding. Select the correct community before starting a shift or changing settings.

Your platform account and community identity are different. A community may assign a nickname, callsign, departments, and permission level without changing your login or identity elsewhere.

Browser and in-game CAD​

The browser CAD is the full dispatch, administration, and records workspace. The FiveM resource adds the in-game MDT, AVL, assignment routing, ERS synchronization, panic alerts, and Fire pager. Both use the same live community data.

  1. Configure departments and members.
  2. Configure call natures and response recommendations.
  3. Import postals and map or rename roads.
  4. Configure forms and penal codes.
  5. Create Fire stations and tones if needed.
  6. Install the FiveM resource and run a test call.
