Joining and Starting a Shift

Join using the invitation or discovery method selected by the community owner. Department access must be assigned before its workspace appears.

Open the community, choose a department, and sign on with a unit or apparatus callsign. A signed-on unit becomes available to Communications, LiveMap, incident assignment, and integrations. Ending the shift removes the active unit and safely clears its assignment.

If a workspace is missing, check the selected community and department assignment first. A second account will not repair community permissions.
